Hotel Alexander Amsterdam

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel rooms at Hotel Alexander. The decor may be plain, but everything was spotless and well-maintained. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, with easy access to attractions and public transportation. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the quiet area in the reception where I could enjoy a relaxing evening drink. Hotel Alexander provided great value for money.

Conveniently located near museums and parks, this cozy abode provided comfortable and clean accommodations with excellent amenities such as fresh coffee and a complimentary phone for city navigation. The friendly and cheerful staff exceeded expectations with outstanding customer service, while the breakfast offered great value for €10. Highly recommended for a short stay!

The venue is cosy, immaculately clean and the location is perfect really close to Vondel park, Amsterdam, the centre of the city. Oud-West district is worth seeing.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices considering its location near one of the nicest areas in Amsterdam. Its proximity to tram lines and the big Vondel park in the back makes it extremely convenient for exploring the city. The staff is attentive and provides a good level of service, ensuring that all necessary facilities are available to guests. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with a comfortable bed and even a balcony in some cases. It's also a nice touch that breakfast is included, allowing guests to start their day off right.

My first visit to this hotel was for leisure purposes and I stayed for four nights. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a 20-minute walk from the city center and easily accessible from the Central station. The rooms, although small, were cozy and the beds were comfortable. The showers were clean with good water pressure. The staff at reception were helpful, providing directions for public transportation and offering free maps and information. I also appreciated the free use of the coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in the reception area.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was ample and of good quality, the location was convenient for exploring the city, and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

This hotel really surprised me with its value for money. For the price I paid, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and attention to detail. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the rooms, although not huge, were immaculately clean. I particularly enjoyed the quietness of my room, as it overlooked the backyard area. The wifi connection was also reliable, which was a plus. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, especially considering the excellent value it offers.

I loved the location of this hotel on a tranquil residential street, yet still within easy walking distance or a short tram ride to the heart of the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were fantastic. They were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early and providing helpful recommendations.

Great location close to museums and public transportation. The croissants were flaky and delicious. I appreciated the disposable razors and toothbrushes available at the desk. My only complaint was the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great weekend at this hotel! the staff was amazing, always friendly and helpful. the location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and within walking distance of restaurants and a supermarket. We also loved the free coffee and tea available 24/7, especially after a long day out in the cold.

There were a couple of issues that could be improved upon. the heaters in the rooms were not working, but luckily the rooms were warm enough during our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at a small hotel close to the major museums. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the Museum area and with easy access to public transport. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us tourist advice and even selling discount tickets. The rooms were a bit tired and could use refurbishment, but they were clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the free coffee/tea available 24 hours and the outside terrace overlooking the garden.

The lift didn't go directly to the bedroom floors, so we had to navigate a few stairs.
